Use these display creative examples to help prospective advertisers envision new advertising offers, messaging and creative approaches of their own.
Along with the display creative examples (which are available to download at the end of this post), here are some tips to help with running a successful insurance digital advertising campaign:
Know what’s being sold
Understand the decision-making process behind multiple purchases in this category. Is it required by law? Does buying the product simply provide peace of mind? Emotional appeals tied to financial considerations are worth exploring.
Feature vs. benefit
Know the difference between the two, and skew creative concepts toward benefits. Have an answer for when the online reader thinks, “What’s in it for me?”
Clarify desired KPIs
While it’s possible to buy some forms of insurance with just a few clicks, others require an agent’s involvement. Be sure to align campaign goals and measures of success with your client before beginning.
Experiment with targeting
There’s no one single target audience for most insurance products. Vary your targeting tactics, and partner with the client for periodic reviews in order to determine which targeting provided the highest ROI.
